(some excerpts from: Take Time for your Life. by Cheryl Richardson).
Health is wealth.
We lead busy, hectic lives, putting work or the needs of others before our own self-care. We fill our bodies with fast food, tolerate high
levels of stress, and run non-stop on adrenaline. Like the Energizer bunny, the body keeps going and going - then one day, something goes wrong. We get sick, hear
the diagnosis of an unexpected illnes, or notice that we just can't seem to get things done the way we used to. That's when most people finally start paying attention
to their health, both emotional and physical.
Caring for your body is much more than curing an illness. Good health means having plenty of energy to do all that you want to do. The results of how we live our lives are reflected in our
bodies. When we get sick, it indicates that we have already been under a great deal of stress. You should make your health a priority before illness strikes. During our coachings sessions I will
share with you ideas and resources to keep you proactive about your physical health.
What about your emotional health? Current mind/body medical research shows that our emotions have a major impact on our physical health. Doctors are finally acknowledging the link
between our mind and body and that illness may be influenced by our emotional state. When you feel emotionally secure, you are able to be much more proactive and much less reactive in your
life. This allows you to make smart choices and smart choices make for good health.
My coaching will help you identify, what supports your emotional health ? A long talk with a close friend? The inspiration of a good book? A walk on the beach? We will go over exercises that
will help you attain a higher state of emotional health, which in turn will give you power to make the right choices in life. Please contact me
to get started with your FREE session.
